TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Buco Social Media Competition – 1x Woolworths Shopping Voucher
The promoter of the Competition is Buco, a division of The Building Company (Pty) Ltd ("the Promoter").
The name of the Competition is “Garden Essentials Competition” (“the Competition name”).
The Competition will run from 20 October 2025 to 02 November 2025, both days included ("the Competition Period").
By entering the Competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Competition prizes (“the Prizes”) to be won include the following:
1X R1000 Woolworth Shopping Store Voucher for South Africa only
The Competition is open to all participants within South Africa that are South African citizens (in possession of a valid South African ID) and South African residents (in possession of a valid South African permanent residency permit). You are not eligible to participate in this Competition if:
You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or its affiliates/divisions/ subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the Competition.
You are a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified in 6a.
To enter the Competition and stand a chance to win, participants will need to do the following:

Ensure your profile is public so we can see your entry.
Only one main entry per participant; bonus entry applies when tagging a friend.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any user who enters using false information by entry forms or like means.
Main Prize in this Competition is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
There will be one (1) winner per prize.
Winners must collect the prizes in person and present original ID. No copies allowed.
The draw for the winner will take place on 5th of February 2026. The winners will be chosen randomly from all the valid entries.
Winners will be contacted by the Marketing Team within 48 (forty-eight) hours of the draw.
An alternative winner will be drawn 48 hours from the date of announcing the winner if the winner was not able to be contacted via the provided details.
Buco and their delivery agent does not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for the purpose of using, applying or enjoying the prize won in this Competition.
Winners give Buco and its authorised agents consent to use their names for publicity purposes, unless refused.
Buco reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Buco.
Your privacy is very important to BUCO and it will use reasonable efforts in order to ensure that any information, including personal information, provided by you, or which is collected from you, is stored in a secure manner.
You agree to provide BUCO with accurate and current information and to maintain and update such information when necessary.
The information collected by BUCO may be used to send you information about products, services, and special offers of the various companies in The Building Company group that may be of interest or value to you.
The information may also be processed by BUCO and other companies in The Building Company group, any of their operators, agents and sub-contractors (who may be outside South Africa) on the condition that they will keep such information confidential.
You acknowledge that any information supplied to BUCO in terms of these Terms and Conditions is provided voluntarily.
By submitting any information to BUCO in any form, you further acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing of such information by BUCO under any applicable law in the manner contemplated above, which consent shall, in the absence of any written objection received from you, be indefinite and/or for the period otherwise required in terms of any applicable law.
Unless you have consented, BUCO will not sell, exchange, transfer, rent or otherwise make available any personal information about you (such as name, address, email address, telephone or fax number) to other parties and you indemnify BUCO from any unintentional disclosures of such information to unauthorized persons.
Should you believe that BUCO has used your personal information contrary to applicable law, you shall first resolve any concerns with BUCO. If you are not satisfied with such a process, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
You can choose to be excluded from direct marketing by notifying BUCO in writing or by registering a block on any registry which BUCO is bound by law to recognise. BUCO will not charge you a fee to update this request on its systems. BUCO will give effect to any changes requested by you as soon as reasonably possible. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any user who enters using false information by robotic, automated or like means.
